Situated in a magnificient 18th century building in the centre of the Czech capital, the St. George Hotel lies right at the tip of the beautiful Belle Epoque quarter of Vinohrady. The estate was brought back to its original 18th century architectural pureness due to careful restoration, finished in 1999. All interiors have been elegantly decorated with furniture in Biedermeier style which makes the hotel an ideal place for a comfortable stay in the surroundings of old, magical Prague. It is located close to a Czech national monument of the 14th century, the baroque chapel of the Holy Mary and St. Charles IV, which overlooks a picturesque valley to the first fortress of Prague: the mystical Vysehrad.

The Hotel can easily be reached by Metro or tram. It is located close to the central Metro station ‘I.P. Pavlova‘ (line C) where most of the easy to use trams also stop on their way into the Old Town.
